We’re excited to invite you, together with the HSG Aviation Club and the Global Aviation Talent Exchange (GATE e.V.), to a special event: Max Kownatzki, CEO of Eurowings, will share his career journey: From HSG doctorate to the top of one of Europe’s largest airlines.
What to expect:
- An overview of the biggest challenges, key topics and innovations at Eurowings
- His personal journey and career advice for our participants: from his studies and doctorate at HSG to CEO of Eurowings, and the lessons he learned along the way
📅 When: Wednesday, November 11
📋 Agenda:
- 15:45 – 17:15 CET Talk by Dr. Kownatzki & Q&A
- 17:15 – 18:00 CET Networking with members of GATE e.V. (one of the largest Trainee-Association in europe, connecting all european high-potential programs in the aviation industry) and the HSG Aviation Club
- From 18:15 CET (optional): Panel discussion in the SQUARE Atrium with the former CEO of Lufthansa Group, Christoph Franz and the former Vice-Chancellor of Germany, Robert Habeck (see Link below!)
- Afterwards: Drinks and dinner together in the city
📍 Where: Discovery Grid at the Square OR join online via Teams (only the session from 15:45 – 17:15 CET)
Seats for in-person attendance are limited and will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis for DocNet members. After the talk, there will be an opportunity to network with colleagues from the HSG Aviation Club and GATE e.V. For those who cannot make it in person, a live-stream of the event will be available. The Teams link will be sent out via email.
Optional follow-up event: Right after our networking, at 18:15 CET in the SQUARE Atrium, there is a panel discussion titled “A World Economy in Upheaval” with Robert Habeck, former Vice-Chancellor of Germany. Please note that this event requires a separate registration: register here.
After the panel, we’ll head down into the city together for informal drinks and dinner. Everyone who’d like to join is welcome!
